What is the Grange?

The Prices Fork Grange N.O. 786 is part of a national fraternal order named The National Grange of the Order of the Patrons of Husbandry. Founded in 1867 after the end of the Civil War to help agricultural and farming communities prosper. Today we focus more on community service while still serving to advocate and fight for agriculture and the rural community. At our local Grange we offer a cheap rental space for our community in Montgomery County as well as advocate and serve the community through events and gatherings. While the Grange does practice advocacy and the importance of voting, the Grange is a non-partisan group and will never promote a certain candidate but rather certain policies that will benefit our rural communities.

How do I join?

We are so glad you asked! You can come to a meeting at any point to come listen and learn about what we do and why we do it. If you do decide to join the Grange family, we would love to have you. You can fill out a Grange member application in-person or online and be voted in at the next meeting. We hope you will consider joining us and helping us to make a difference in our community!
